Hitman Reboot
Hitman reboot to launch on March 11 with three locations, with more coming later
The Hitman reboot from developer Io Interactive and publisher Square Enix now has a firm release date of March 11, 2016. At launch the game will include three locations (Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh) and six missions, with more content to be added in April (Thailand), May (USA) and June (Japan).
The game, which will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, will have a different business model than other games. Players who want to get everything planned for Hitman, including all post-release content, can pay $59.99. It also includes access to the Hitman beta test, which will be available just for PlayStation 4 and PC owners.
However, if you just want to get the content that will be released in March, including all Contracts and Live events, you can do so for just $34.99. If you decide to jump in and get all of Hitman's post-release content later, those players will have the option to upgrade the game for $29.99.
