Hitman's Beta Will Require Internet Connection, Full Game Won't
Agent 47 doesn't need a constant internet connection to assassinate his targets in the full game.
The
Hitman beta is gearing up for this weekend, and it's been revealed that it will require a constant internet
connection. However, Square Enix has confirmed that this won't be
the case for the full game releasing in March.
The
Hitman publisher confirmed to VideoGamer that
players will be able to play the full game offline after downloading it.
"Yes,
you can play the full game offline after you have downloaded an episode,"
Square Enix clarified. "But there are live elements which you will need to
access online."
The
beta is coming to PS4 this
Friday, February 12. The PC will
be getting it February 19. Xbox One owners
will have to wait until the full game's release to get their hands on it.
Hitman
launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 11.
